Inspirations

Inspirations.

I got none.

I think I understand Will Smith now.

I think if I was capable of feeling bad, I might admit I mis-blogged. But the truth is he's rich so he doesn't need fresh ideas. I, on the other hand need new ideas because as a high class hobo I am not given much leeway for being influenced by what others create.

So Will Smith, I write a Haiku just for you,

Titled, Will Smith

It must be nice to
be you since new ideas
are irrelevant.

High Class Hobo

I am High Class Hobo.

Apparently, my mentor, my muse, my friend (in my head) Suze Orman has classified me as a High Class Hobo.

OF COURSE, she doesn't say that directly! But if you know Suze Orman, She believes we all need an 8 month security fund. My 8 month security fund (a fund that is liquid!) should be $23,618. ummm... Really? Just $23,618 sitting in an account waiting for me to ruin my life to be there to save the day?

Twenty three thousand six hundred eighteen dollars, how do you measure?, Measure Security??!!  (Yes that was a sing-song tribute to Rent, and its ever famous song Seasons of Love . Feel free to sing it, It works!)

Things I learned today:
I am a High Class Hobo.
According to Suze, I am almost homeless.
I am no where near my security fund.
I will not be visiting Suze Orman's website until I am either ready to accept being homeless or until I think I am ready to start not being homeless.

So in short, just because you're a hobo (high-class or opening McDonalds doors for tips), doesn't mean you can't continue to learn.

Influences

Influence.

Influence is a funny thing. Isn't it just a fancy way of saying,

"I am not original enough to come up with something that someone else hasn't already created; So I am going to "use" your idea and change the color of the curtains and call it mine."

Then, the nerve of the influenced to then thank the person they were influenced by. The only other thing that irks me this bad is those scrabble players that come along and try to add a "S" to the end of your very long, thought out word that you so painstakingly planned out the entire game because you just had to spell "ANOESTRI" because you had most of the vowels the entire game and you refused to let the crappy player to your left take that triple word score because they wanted to spell "RAD" ... UUGHH.. FRUSTRATION! AGONY!

That's how the idea of influence makes me feel. You just can't go adding S's to peoples life work. Half the people who come along and try to use their perceived influences and revamp something just end up ruining what was already there.

Sometimes adding an S doesn't cut it. Especially when the work requires you to understand the rules of pluralisation!

So in short, Will Smith, please never remake another Karate Kid movie. Jackie Chan shouldn't be fighting children.
